THIS I WILL BLESS

Give thanks in all circumstances, for what you endure, whether pain and suffering, through no fault of your own, even possibly at the hands of another, give thanks, for this I will bless. 

 

Surrender your time and talents to serve one another, when perhaps you would rather have been doing something else for yourself, for this I will bless.

 

Make sacrifices to honour Me, even small things offered, lifting your thoughts to Me. this I will bless.

 

Dying to self by allowing others to be in the limelight, while you recede into the background, denying yourself for the sake of another, this I will bless.

 

For selfishness is not a Heavenly trait, rather generosity and humility, consistently lived in your daily routine, this I will bless.

 

I came to serve, not to be served, and so to be an example to all, for this is what pleases the Father.

 

As you strive to greater holiness, obedience to the Commandments will be of utmost importance, it is not a suggestion but a necessity.

 

You are the examples that others will see of how goodness and mercy operate in Christian life, the words you speak and your mannerisms are important, not condescending nor impatient, you may be the means of their conversion to faith.

 

I will bring testing into your life, sometimes when you least expect it, you may be unprepared, then someone may be in need of your attention, be aware of the impending graces awaiting your “yes” to Me.

 

Missed opportunities for growth in holiness and humility, will be regretted in life at the end of your days, earth is a time of preparation for your inhabiting the Kingdom of Heaven.

 

You are not in this battle alone, for all of the Saints and Angels of Heaven, the Church Triumphant, are eager for your arrival there, they pray constantly that you will accept the graces being offered today.

 

Pray for the souls in Purgatory, the Church Suffering, who can no longer pray for themselves, but rely on you, their families and friends, they will pray for you especially if you are the cause of their early release into their Heavenly reward.

 

May you accumulate treasures for Heaven, they will be waiting there for your glory, where all the good which you have done will be revealed for all to see, and you will see ultimately how I have blessed you  throughout your life.
